Defending Omar, NC spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar took to social media, expressing his frustration with the misrepresentation of Omar’s remarks. Dar emphasized that Omar had clarified his position, stating that he is not authorized to speak on behalf of the PAGD, and cautioned against relying on unofficial quotes from news portals.
Within the PDP, there is a belief that Omar is attempting to undermine the credibility of the PAGD, as it is widely known that he was never in favor of the alliance. PDP leaders speculate on Omar’s motives, questioning what may be behind his actions.
